The particularity of Shiljuhn Kheoksuldo is that it is an attacking martial art for close quarter combat and situation handling based on the flow of “kang” (power and technique),“dan” (distance and speed),“sun” (vital point), and “yu” (distribution of power). Based on the smooth flow of the “kang,”“dan,”“sun,”“yu,” the goal of training is maximizing the strengths and minimizing the weaknesses according to individual physical features.

The Chinese hanja character of Shiljun kyeoksuldo are, 實(fruit “shil”), 戰(fight “juhn), 擊(strike “kyuk”), 術(technique “sul”), and 道(way “do”) which means ‘to learn or teach fighting techniques in actual situations.
Shikjun Kyeoksuldo is a martial art created in order to better express the human instinct by succeeding the “Shiljun” spirit and by modifying the and supplementing the strengths and weaknesses of all other martial arts. As it is a martial art in order to better express the human instinct, through the training of controlling expression, it intends to make humans perform their ability much more thoroughly.
